Waleed Baig, 2n Adifin, final reflection


I am writing this as my internship time is coming to an end in Munich. Going to share some final thoughts on this journey.In these 2 months I have grown a lot personally and professionally. I have learned a lot of things except German cause where I am working no one speaks in German. I made couple of friends with whom I roamed in Munich. The difficult part was obviously, the language barrier but if you speak English you can understand some German. At work I had amazing colleagues who helped me a lot when I needed it and I will surely miss them. So, all in all it was a good experience and which I will never forget it.


I would also like to point out that the tasks I have fullfilled at my internship are adequate and related to my field of studies. I haven't done anything related to accounting and finance, as to do that, first one needs to have an ample knowledge of German finance and law system and second, be able to speak German, which in my case, ... well you can imagine it. Barring these two departments, I have done pretty much everything.

  Hem entrevistat l’Arnau Ollé, estudiant de 2n de Dietètica de l’ETP Xavier, just abans de marxar cap Westerburg (Alemanya) a l’abril a fer una estada de pràctiques gràcies al Programa Erasmus+. Què t'ha motivat a presentar-te a les beques Erasmus+? La motivació va sorgir l’any passat pel simple fet de voler conèixer i viure una nova experiència a l’estranger. Finalment, he tingut l’oportunitat de poder fer un Erasmus a Alemanya aquest curs a través de la Fundació Barcelona FP i l’ETP Xavier; concretament unes pràctiques de dos mesos a una residència assistida per a gent gran. Què esperes que t'aporti? Espero poder guanyar experiència laboral i conèixer la pròpia cultura, així com la  dinàmica de l’estil de vida que es porta aquí, per poder   veure la diferència entre Espanya i Alemanya en l’àmbit alimentari des d’una òptica   professional. Leslie, una altra manera de veure el món

Aquesta mes de febrer, la Leslie-Ann Paulino, estudiant de 2n d'Educació Infantil a la nostra escola, ha viatjat a Alemanya per realitzar una estada de pràctiques al Kindergruppe Schlabberpapp e.V. de Munich. S'hi estarà dos mesos, gràcies a una beca d'Erasmus+. Nosaltres li hem fet una petita entrevista. Què t'ha motivat a presentar-te a les beques Erasmus+?  El que m'ha motivat a presentar-me a les beques Erasmus+ és  que crec que podria ser una molt bona oportunitat creativa per formar-me professionalment d'una manera diferent a la que s'ofereix habitualment. Que esperes que  t'aporti ?  Poder fer Erasmus+, a part que m'aporti una bona experiència i nous companys amb qui compartir aquesta experiència, també espero que m'aporti independència i una altra manera de veure el món a la que estic habituada. Carla, 2n Guia, unforgettable experience

Probably, if somebody asked me a time in my life in which I was completely happy, my answer would be: Erasmus. I have to admit that I was a little bit nervous before coming to Finland; I didn’t know what to expect, how the weather will be, how people will be, anything.  After more than 2 months here, I can say that I become another person.  The Erasmus marked a before and after. I don’t know how to explain it, but it is a stage in my life that is separate from the rest. Sometimes I feel like it’s a stop in everything, a dream, a vision, a movie, I don’t know. Something far removed from reality, like a break, a dead time (but more alive than any other).  It was not the first time I had spent a season away from home, in another country, with new people and in a language different from mine.
